Patrick Burns is an actor, playwright, composer and activist who has performed off-Broadway, regionally, and in national tours. His plays have been produced off-Broadway and regionally and his articles have been featured online in The Chronicle for Social Change, Stage Agent, and The Atlantic.
Patrick’s original one-man-musical, From Foster Care to Fabulous, has played to enthusiastic audiences nationwide and won philanthropy awards on both coasts. Patrick has performed the work as part of the New York International Fringe Festival and has used the show to raise awareness and funds to better the foster care system in America.
Kathleen Coombs is a writer, director, composer, and performer currently living in Austin, TX. While working toward her MFA in playwriting from UCLA, Kate co-wrote "8, The Play" with Dustin Lance Black. She also produced and directed the Sacramento premier of the work, which has now been performed in hundreds of cities across America. Her feature screenplay, “Sakura (Blossom)” has been purchased by Pocketwatch Studios and is currently scheduled for production.
Other written works include the original musical, "Sat Nam: a Story of Sex, Love, and Yoga," (LA Workshop), "click" (LATC Playwrights Festival), "The Great Buford Fire Funnel"(UCLA Coppola One-Act Festival), and "Cuore Mio – My Heart" (DC Source Festival).
